Hey, just checking to see if you and your loved ones are ok, because of the typhoon and all. 
Hi Carin! We're fine here in Manila. Those who live in central & eastern Philippines are the most affected by the typhoon Haiyan. 10,000 Filipinos are feared dead and left hundred thousands (or millions by now) homeless. I'm just glad that many individuals and local businesses here in the capital raised fund to buy clothes, food, and shelter. Even artist/photographers sold their artworks and give the 100% of the proceeds to the victims. 
Glad to hear you're ok! Such an awful tragedy, it's crazy what the earth can do. But things like people coming together and helping each other is hopeful
